The role: Cyber IT Risk Management Intern – 12 Month FTC An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cyber IT Risk Management Intern on a 12 Month fixed term contract to join the Global Information Security Department of Marsh McLennan Companies. As our Cyber IT Risk Management Intern, you will work with the Information Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to identify and track the completeness and accuracy of internal IT risks in support of adoption and engagement with the Cyber/ IT Risk Register globally. Reporting to the Senior Manager Cyber / IT Risk Management within Global Information Security, you will engage with technology and business teams globally, to follow up on missed deadlines and incomplete risk records in alignment with the Cyber / IT Risk registration processes. You will be responsible for proactively reviewing registered IT risks to provide reminders to technology and business teams on approaching deadlines. What can you expect? We will rely on you to: Enable our businesses to properly evaluate and consider risk impacts within business decisions to accept risk to our IT systems and applications, by ensuring complete and accurate risk details within the global Cyber/ IT Risk Register. Frequently communicate with risk owners to understand risks, ensure they are captured completely in the register, and ultimately support the management of risk by providing feedback on necessary outstanding tasks. Weekly prepare and provide to technology and business teams overdue risk notifications as a prompt for action to address register IT risks Periodically, report on approaching treatment deadlines to support the risk owners in the timely completion of approved remediation activities.
